A man and his father-in-law, who were trying to kill time by scouting fishing holes while their wives were gone, ended up finding a man who had been trapped for days inside a wrecked vehicle, authorities in Indiana said Tuesday. A woman who jumped from a burning home in Palo Alto has passed away. According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Joanne Rodgers, 53, of Coburn, Penn Township, Centre County, died Thursday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.Rodgers had jumped from the third floor of a burning home on West Savory Street, Palo Alto, on Tuesday. She was rushed to a waiting helicopter and flown to Allentown for her injuries.
